Perhaps more "hip" than you will ever catch me admitting to? I enjoy Mark Danielewski a great deal. Saw him read and speak at a Los Feliz bookstore that shall go unnamed for fear of being exposed ever more the hipster by this blog post. Here is an interesting interview with him.
